Neoprene is Obsolete | Unboxing TideWe's Breathable Waders

Updated: Aug 18, 2023

How I ended up with TideWe Waders

To start off with I'll let you know that I'm a returning TideWe customer.

I was going on a destination hunt and my name-brand waders weren't going to fit in my luggage. So, I considered shipping my waders. That turned out to be cost-prohibitive.

Then I took a look at Amazon.

On Amazon, I came across TideWe's neoprene hunting waders. As you can see, the value was so enticing I felt like I didn't have anything to lose.

I didn't expect much from my first pair of TideWe waders. I only needed them to get me through the week. At the price I was quoted, I could just leave the waders behind for the next time I flew in for a hunt.

But I was shocked. TideWe's hunting waders outperformed my name-brand waders.

Specifically, at 6-4, I have a problem with the crotch of the waders hanging so low that they end up tying up my legs and tripping me while I'm tossing out decoys. Then I end up on my knees and water about to pour into my waders. And, now, the bonus is that my legs are bound together and I can't stand up. Oof! That is not a problem with my TideWe waders. The crotch on the TideWe waders is high enough that I don't end up tripping.

Throughout the hunt, TideWe's waders kept me warm and dry. They were well worth the money.

Four reasons to upgrade to TideWe's Breathable Waders

  1. The crotch. I am not afraid of falling over into my decoy spread.

  2. Mobility. Neoprene feels like a vice grip and makes it difficult to move. TideWe's breathable waders feel like you're just wearing an extra pair of baggy pants. They are also noticeably lighter than neoprene waders.

  3. The breathability is key. One of my hunt areas requires a three-mile walk-in. Then you toss out decoys and by the end of all that, you're a sweaty mess. Now, you sit in a blind and an icy breeze blows in and you are not a popsicle. With the breathable waders your heat can escape and you don't overheat, so you don't sweat, so you don't freeze when the north wind blows in.

  4. The price. Check out the price and try to find a better pair for the price. I'll even throw in a discount code DN18

For me, TideWe's Breathable Waders made neoprene waders obsolete.
