Welcome to Simple Hunts

I grew up a duck hunter but after joining the military and living in several different states and Japan, I came back a pheasant hunter.

I have three Brittanys, Tori, Charlie, and Lily who are the loves of my life! Tori and Lily are out of Hideaway Kennels and Charlie is out of Wintuck Kennels.

Ben Garcia of Hideaway Kennels trains my pups annually for a tuneup before each pheasant season. He can be contacted at his Hideaway Kennels website.

I am a member of Rocky Mountain Roosters where I work the dogs regularly.

I travel to Oregon yearly for a week-long public land duck hunt on Sauvie Island with my brother who has a Master Hunter Black Lab to retrieve the ducks. I also like to chase some elk around the Colorado Rocky Mountains with my brother. We have fun whether we tag a bull or not. We call it camping with rifles if we don’t happen to punch our tag.

Best hunting experience ever was a quail hunt at Chattokee Lodge. It was peaceful and beautiful...serene. If you happen to be in the Northern Alabama area, I highly recommend enjoying a stay at the Chattokee Lodge.
